runAway - TV show branding

Client: runAway Japan

Producer: Dean newcombe
Art director/designer: Victor Camacho

I worked with Dean Newcombe to create the graphics for his show called runAway. An extremely interesting show, that combines Japan nature and working out.

I tried to demostrate the simplicity of Japanese design and his heritage culture across my design and ideas. I am pretty happy with how looked in the end. There was a lot of changes along the way, trying to get the right look for the logo of the show. We wanted to impact, and show in the graphics the same energy that the show transmits.

I modelled and animated all graphics in Cinema 4d.There is a lot of procedural animation. As well, I rendered using Arnold. My goal was keeping the texture as photorealistic as possible to reflect the beauty from Japan. The wooden Fuji san I think is a proof of that.

In runAway: Sole of Japan, will be broadcast soon in Japan, so please have a look, really worth to watch.
